On Monday, the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington D.C. joined other Catholic organizations to sue the U.S. Government over a new healthcare law mandating them to provide employees with access to contraception as part of their health insurance. The lawsuit cites the First Amendment guaranteeing protection of religion.
There are six Catholics on the Supreme Court (the other three Justices are religious Jews). Five of those were appointed by Republican Presidents (Reagan: Scalia and Kennedy; Bush Sr.: Thomas; Bush Jr.: Alito and Roberts).
The Catholics know exactly what they’re doing dragging this ridiculous claim through the courts up the creepy, disfigured SCOTUS which looks nothing at all like America’s religious demographics.

Shouting at schizophrenia will not repair cognition. Hitting autism will not retroactively correct neurodevelopment. Praying over epilepsy will not properly regulate neural oscillation. Exorcists are not neurologists. Exorcists, Pentacostal churches, and the Catholic Church should be investigated for advertising services they are incapable of providing, spreading false information about medical conditions, attempting to provide treatment without medical training or certification, malpractice, false imprisonment, physical and psychological torture, and manslaughter.

A retired Catholic priest and friend of the NSW attorney general was taken to hospital after being charged with a raft of child sexual offences dating back to the 1970s.
It’s not quite life imprisonment, but we’re at least a step closer to finally arresting and jailing all pedophile priests.
